WRITING

From her start at writing screenplays at the age of 14, to getting her words and comics out in zines in her early 20's, to a published book of poetry (dayblindness: available on Amazon.com), Candace's work has continued to evolve and captivate readers through it's use of strong basic emotion and ability to relate to all readers.

Candace is currently working on a variety of projects including more poetry as well as a full-length graphic novel.

OLDER WORKS

POET'S EVE
In 2002 Candace and a few other local poets founded the collective, Poet's Eve. Essentially the poets put on a quarterly event called, "Poet's Eve" which with open mics, themed games and zine releases, Poet's Eve was a sure hit. Numerous zines may still be kicking around if you're looking to purchase. With people moving away and new aspirations, Poet's Eve has pretty much disbanded.

ZINES
Having written countless zines (low-budget works, created for the sakes of spreading your own word), Candace teaches workshops on zine making. A few zines that are still for sale:
